Applegate Furniture carries a variety of quality outdoor wooden furniture. We offer furniture built out of grade no. 1 Pressure Treated lumber as well as natural Poplar and Cedar. Our pressure treated lawn furniture is constructed with premium quality treated southern yellow pine. The wood was dried after treatment and milled. You do not have to wait for any curing process. Our poplar furniture is a strong and cost effective option. Our cedar furniture is constructed with natural red cedar. Cedar is naturally non-rotting non-warping lumber ideal for outdoor furniture.
Even though the wood we use is first quality and much care has been given to make sure the craftsmanship is also first quality, it still needs a stain/sealer or paint to protect it from the elements to avoid excessive checking or warping. Locally we sell Superdeck brand oil base stain products and similar products can be found at any hardware or paint store.
